Domestic Abuse and Personal Safety

Domestic abuse can affect anyone, and long or unsociable hours, financial dependence and workplace stress can make it harder to seek help—particularly in hospitality.

Abuse isn’t always physical; it can include emotional, financial, coercive or controlling behaviour. Support is available, and you don’t have to be in immediate danger to ask for help.

This section signposts confidential, specialist services that can support safety, advice and next steps.
